Which book would you like to read next term?

Have a read about the books below and make a descision about which one you would like to read as a class next term. Once you have decided, vote for the book you would like to be read the most on the poll to the left. Remember don't judge a book by it's cover, know what the book is about so you can make an informed descision!

Charlotte's Web

The unforgettable story of a girl called Fern who loves a little pig called Wilbur. It tells how Charlotte A. Cavatica, a beautiful grey spider, saves Wilbur from the usual fate of nice fat pigs, by a wonderfully clever plan - a plan so original that no one else could possibly have thought of it!

Pippi Longstocking
A rollicking story of Pippi who lives without any grownups in a little house at the edge of the village. The matter-of-fact way in which her absurd adventures are related is one of the chief charms of this story.

The BFG
The Big Friendly Giant is one of Dahls most lovable characters. Whether galloping off with Sophie nestled next to his ear; speaking his delightful, jumbled, squib-fangled patois; or whizzpopping for the Queen, he leaves an indelible impression of bigheartedness.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

Lucy steps into the Professor's wardrobe -- but steps out again into a snowy forest. She's stumbled upon the magical world of Narnia, land of unicorns, centaurs, fauns! and the wicked White Witch, who terrorises all. Lucy soon realises that Narnia, and in particular Aslan, the great Lion, needs her help if the country's creatures are ever going to be free again.
